Games for holiday.

We’re that family that take a pack of cards on holiday and after our evening meal like to sit in the bar having a few drinks and playing some games but I’m getting a bit bored of the usual card games and need some new ideas.

I’ve just bought UNO as we’ve never played that.

Any more suggestions please?

Monopoly deal... surprisingly good fun, and doesn't take hours like the board game.

Bananagrams?

Travel versions of board games? We had a holiday in Ibiza when DS was going through his Cluedo obsession and took a travel version. Some of the pieces were teeny tiny though. I think there are card based versions of monopoly if you aren't the type of family to start WW3 over Park Lane 😂

Top trumps?

Phase 10. Based on rummy, made by the makers of Uno, and can keep you occupied for a while!

Exploding Kittens. A holiday staple for us. Also Pass the Pigs. And Yahtzee.

Ligretto!

Dobble is great. And we play UNO every holiday.

Also recommend Blokus, not cards but easy to play and quite portable?

Cards against humanity (if your kids are old enough and can keep their voices down!)
