Hello, we're taking our almost 3yo to thomas land tomorrow. How long does it take to go round just the Thomas land part of Drayton manor?

We spend the whole day in the Thomas Land section when we go. You can also take a Thomas or Percy train to the zoo and dinosaur land which we do if we have time.
Hope you all have fun.

Yes, you can easily but comfortably spend the day, between that and the train ride sola mentions. It goes to the zoo and dinosaurs but there’s a decent play area, too and another cafe. There’s also a Thomas soft play if you need a few minutes

Great, hopefully he enjoys it. We're going on the way home from norfolk to Glasgow.
Have booked the holiday inn express Tamworth 🤮 - is there anywhere decent nearby for dinner?

That I don’t know, but we usually pass a few independent pubs on the way there so I’m sure there will be something decent enough. Tamworth has a few very of the usual very family chains, too.

Are you heading straight off the next morning or will you have time for the snowdome?

pepsimax20bigger · 14/07/2019 12:30

We're heading to holiday inn express this evening, Thomas land in the morning then driving up to Glasgow after we've spent the day there. Back to work on Tuesday 😴

If you want nearest foods, there is restaurant over the road where bowling is. Easily to walk. But plenty of pub around for meals to drive

Deadheadstickeronacadillac · 14/07/2019 12:34

We always stay at the Lea Marston hotel in Tamworth, they have a really good pub style restaurant and a more formal one; food generally excellent and all the staff are really good with kids.

Fairypiggy · 14/07/2019 12:45

There is a Nando’s, pizza express and frankie and bennys within driving distance

pepsimax20bigger · 14/07/2019 12:54

I've seen somewhere called clydes bar and grill which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel so hopefully that's ok.

Yeah that what the restaurant I was saying in the bowling. There is few restaurants at Ventura park too probably about 10 min walk. There is beefeater pub too
