In my defence it was my birthday today! We're in France and went to the fete nationale fireworks but nothing will convince DS2 that the fireworks weren't for me...my french is rusty at best!

Bon anniversaire! I'm slightly drunk too, been out with my mate who got horribly pissed so we had to cut the evening short and get a taxi home.

It's 02.54 here and we did actually have a good night.

Me! Actually I’m not really that pissed but I’ve been drinking vodka and Diet Coke at the pub and the caffeine in it is a nightmare for me hence it being 4 am and I’m still wide awake 😱

How was everyone's head this morning? Mine was surprisingly fresh considering! The DCs allowed me to have a lie in until 9:30 which is unheard of!

All fine here. Woke up At 7 for a drink and back to sleep until 9:30.
Went for a run, had something to eat and now going to have a bath.
