Having a 4th Child!

Hi my other half really wants to have a 4th child, currently we have 3 boys aged 16, 13 and 5 year old. I am 34 and oh is 35.

I just don't know....I can't grasp what's holding me back?

Financially we can afford it, our 3 boys are fantastic although there are all at different stages!

I'm not sure what my question is either lol!

Do any of you have 4 children with big gaps?
All boys?
How was going from 3 to 4?
Am I mad to go back to baby stage now there all at school?

Thanks Col

What do you imagine / want the rest of your life to look like? Do you think you'd look back and wish you'd (eg) invested this time in your career, or that you'd had number 4?

What if number 4 is twins? What if there are significant SEN? Could you still cope?

We've gone from 3 to 4 - currently a few weeks away from giving birth. Our children are boys - this is our first girl. There will be a five year age gap between the younger two.

We figured that we would never regret having a baby, but could potentially live to regret not having one.

Out of curiosity are all the children both of yours or a blended family? That would probably influence my desire to have another one. The age gaps are quite big too.
