Could anyone give me some advice until I can see a physio please?

Traumatic anterior shoulder dislocation 8 years ago. A+E, theatre, physio etc.
Few years later, randomly popped out turning over in bed, relocated spontaneously. Physio again

2 weeks ago laid in strange position on that shoulder and flicked hand at a fly.....brief severe pain. Shoulder/top of arm has been painful since, wakes me up on a night.

I’ve found some shoulder exercises that I recall doing first time around but they hurt Sad

If they exercises hurt do I continue?
Heat or Ice better?
Any magic fixes for the pain?

I’ve forgotten all the advice I had originally!

Bumping for you.

Adult DS injured shoulder recently: was told gentle movements good, exercises causing pain bad.
And ice.

Hope you get more helpful advice soon.
