What's for dinner?

I'm doing some pasta (mix of leftover wholewheat penne & white shells) with a jar (ShockGrin) no added sugar (Star) pasta sauce, frozen veg (cooked when I eat itWink) and some cheese.

Literally have no energy today but honestly this is a regular dinner for me most days as it's cheap & healthy as I'm a student.👍🏻

I'm having pizza, chips and beans tonight.

You've made me want pasta bake though so I'll do one in the middle of the week Smile

Lasagne and it's my bloody culinary nemesis, it's just never quite right.

Rememberallball · 13/07/2019 17:52

Belly pork rashers in a bbq rub, jersey royals and peas

Spanneroo · 13/07/2019 17:54

Slow cooker blognese (which is actually 80% veg, but the kids can't tell so it's a winner). Feeding a friend's daughter today too, as we've had to take her as an emergency. She's a picky eater but she loves it, hooray!

A Vietnamese beef stew, done in the oven. New recipe, smells amazing so hope it tastes good!

Smoked salmon gratin with salad - easy, quick and bloody delish

Burrito bowls Smile plenty of veg, beans, spices and rice cooked up and chucked on a tortilla wrap topped with avacado and cheese. I did it once as a 'I have nothing in the cupboard to cook so I'm making this up' tea and DH has declared it's his new fav!

LenoVentura · 13/07/2019 18:02

Chicken katsu. Waitrose sauce sachet, microwave rice, chicken goujons. I'm carb loading for a half marathon tomorrow.

waterallday · 13/07/2019 18:03

Here's a pic, just eaten. There was veg underneath the pasta- I swear! Grin

Ha ha ha - I am so hot and grumpy and tired - it's only me and dh - might be toast if he's lucky. Grin

HeyMicky · 13/07/2019 18:06

Sausage, fennel and mustard pasta. The kids had pierogi

waterallday · 13/07/2019 18:06

@onalongsabbatical I know how you feel! This weather makes me so stroppy, I feel overheated and ugh.

NorthEndGal · 13/07/2019 18:07

Sausages and burgers on the BBQ, potato salad and Ceasar salad
Snacks, fruits, beer, cider, wine, mixers, etc
Having a half dozen friends round to welcome to new place
Super casual, low key goodness

Lobsterquadrille2 · 13/07/2019 18:09

Stir fry: onions, garlic, mushrooms, chopped courgette, halved cherry tomatoes, spinach leaves. Plus a fish cake each.

IHaveBrilloHair · 13/07/2019 18:10

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/07/2019 18:18

We were supposed to be eating out but I'm knackered and still hungover from last night (even though I only had 3 drinks fgs!) so I think it'll be deliveroo here, maybe Lebanese.

StumpyinSomerset · 13/07/2019 18:26

Son had fish and chips.
I'm not hungry. Probably some toast later for me. It's to hot to eat.

AbbiMarigoldWalton · 13/07/2019 18:39

Spag bol! everyone loves it and your done and dusted in 15 mins, if only i could get them to eat it everyday....lol

Toughmonkeys · 13/07/2019 18:40

Bonfire baked potatoes only because I've been unwell and couldn't be bothered and had ingredients in.

IndieTara · 13/07/2019 18:41

Fish cakes

PhantomErik · 13/07/2019 18:43

We had butter bean curry with rice & it was lovely!

Tin of butter beans
Tin of coconut milk
Frozen onions
Frozen brocolli
Frozen peas
Curry sauce powder

LBOCS2 · 13/07/2019 18:51

Freezer surprise, which the DC are eating in front of the tv, completely nude.

We've been decorating and cleaning today ready to move so we're a) knackered and b) covered in DIY dust, so I dunked them in the bath while I put something in the oven (emptying the freezer ahead of moving, also a win). The nudity is because they're basically feral.

Sparkle733 · 13/07/2019 19:11

Fish cake, mash and veg here
