Advice from a year six teacher please!

We have been invited to a wedding next year, it is on a Friday. A close family member so it is expected we will go. However I have looked in the school calendar and it is SATs week that week! My friend said that SATs only take place Monday to Thursday but it doesn't say anything about this on the calendar. However I do remember the year six kids going to a theme park on the Friday of SATs week this year. Not sure what to do, I don't want to burden B & G with it as it's only save the date at this stage, and I know the school probably can't advise as they don't authorise time off. I just wondered if any teachers can shed any light?

No SATs on Fridays anymore.

No SATs but it tends to be a relaxing/fun day after the 4 days of tests.

Thanks all, hopefully it will all work out ok then!

My class will be playing rounders and snoozing under trees on that Friday!

Our school tends to have a inset the Friday of sats week so definitely no tests that day.

Definitely no sats on the Friday. Usually (as in the last three years) the timetable goes like this:
Mon - SPAG and separate spelling paper
Tues - Reading comprehension
Wed - Maths paper 1 (Arithmetic) and Maths paper 2 (reasoning)
Thurs - Maths paper 3 (reasoning)
Fri - no tests

We were chosen for the science SATs last year (2018) which were on the Friday of SATs week. They are only every other year so will be due again in 2020 (unless they have scrapped them?) It's not the whole class though - 6 children are chosen at random to complete them.
