Can anyone recommend me a sports bra for a full bust?

I’m now fit enough to run and enjoy it- except for the boob bouncing/ pain. Can anyone recommend me a bra for giving good support and holding them in place, I’m around a size 12 and E cup

It’s bloody painful and embarrassing with my current one

Thanks

Ooo! Following with interest.

Shock absorber. I’m a 34 h cup. It’s the only one I’ve tried that has worked. Bravissimo is where I ordered it.

I’m just looking at shock absorbers on Amazon now...

Shock absorber ultimate run bra - it comes in lots of colours. I’m 36DD and they never hurt...

Another vote for a shock absorber. Mine lasted 7 years.

I’m a GG and wear an Ennell sports bra for running. It’s not pretty but it’s very effective. It might be too heavy duty for you if you are only an E cup.

Are you sure you are wearing the right size of bra BTW? If you are a dress size 12 I’m guessing you are about a 32E or 34E, which isn’t big so I’m surprised you are uncomfortable.

Lysistrataknowsherstuff · 12/07/2019 22:30

M&S extra high impact was the best I've found - a pack of two for about £30 so doesn't break the bank either.

ilovepixie · 12/07/2019 22:31

I got this from Amazon. It's brilliant.

Yep, shock absorber ultimate run!
You’ll probably have to try them on in real life to get the correct size. I’m normally a 32F/G, but the bands are pretty tight on this style so I think mine are 34E.
Anyway, when you work out what size you need you can sometimes get them cheaply on EBay or Amazon.

Deadringer · 12/07/2019 22:34

Another vote here for shock absorber, brilliant sports bra.

cyclingwith3 · 12/07/2019 22:37

34E is really enough to feel very uncomfortable without support, my running friends seems to be lovely A/B cups

I’m also massively heavily than a few years ago, so maybe I feel it more? I used to run in anything without a care at size 6-8

I have a pour moi one and it's amazing. I'm a 36j and does the job for me. This is the one you can get in different colours etc :-)

I also vote for the shock absorber ultimate run bra - your boobs do not move in it! It is the only sports bra I would wear. John Lewis have them for £36 at moment. Be aware that you may need to go up a band though.

ChilliScallops · 13/07/2019 01:13

I found Glamorise sports bras the most supportive.

cyclingwith3 · 13/07/2019 21:30

I hadn’t considered a zip front, but I saw one in Sainsbury’s today. It was £14 so gave it a try, went up a band size to a 36E but it’s really supportive and I’m impressed
