So those dating sites where on earth do I start?

Newly single after a long marriage and finally feeling ready to try dating again. Well I think I am but at almost 50 I'm feeling old and out of practice and totally lost to this new fangled online way of dating. Where on earth do I start? There seem to be so many apps and I bet there are a lot of tips more experienced daters could tell me. Help please

its not the "date" thats the problem, its the kin "BAGGAGE" that always comes with it. (both sides)

My colleagues all seem to be on the free dating sites such as Plenty of Fish or apps such as Tinder (Tinder can be used for dating or just hook ups).

I've tried both in the past.
I'm 42 & about to start trying OLD (online dating) again.

My advice is definitely tell the truth about your age.
Use a selection of decent up to date photos where your face & body shape can be clearly seen.
In your bio say what you like doing (hobbies & interests).

I wouldn’t waste time going back and forth messaging, if you appear to have things in common then meet up as you can tell if you have chemistry or not.
