Come along to protest the racist homophobic sexist bigot that is about to become our prime minister.
Organised by the Women's Strike.
We will make ourselves heard - We will not let this man become PM without a fight.

Here's the event page- hopefully see you there-

I will try to attend, for all the good it'll do. I was dreading Johnson becoming PM before but after the whole ambassador /Trump debacle, I am furious.
We have exchanged being dictated to by the EU for being dictated to by an orange hot air balloon.

Soola · 12/07/2019 12:08

Lol

Boris is fab.

missyB1 · 12/07/2019 12:15

Fck all of them! Can’t bear the thought of evil Boris or that slimy toad Hunt (won’t ever forgive him for forcing the Doctors out on strike). The Tories truly have sunk to a new low if these pair are the best they have to offer. Angry

InTheHeatofLisbon · 12/07/2019 12:23

Boris is fab.

Tell that to Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. You'll need to write to her, in an Iranian jail, since she can't actually speak to anyone, or be released despite not doing anything wrong.

Boris found the situation amusing and did absolutely nothing to help despite being Foreign Secretary.

Even if he was a decent person all round, that would be enough for him to be considered a scumbag.

But he's anything but a decent person.

Hunt isn't much better. Fractionally, maybe. A very very fucking small fraction.

InTheHeatofLisbon · 12/07/2019 12:25

In fact not only did he fail to help, his stupidity meant that he gave false information about her (which he has neither corrected nor apologised for) which made her situation worse.

He’s like a Poundland version of Trump.
After the UK has been so vocally taking the piss out of the USA’s choice, how are we allowing this buffoon in?!

Still, I do think boris is the best shot at getting the tories out as surely a GE will be called shortly after!

DuckWillow · 12/07/2019 12:31

Don't count on it squeezedsadly I think people really ARE stupid.

Then again most of the Tories I know can't stand him.

InsertFunnyUsername · 12/07/2019 12:33

Its an embarrassing time for Britain.

FckGovtFckBoris · 12/07/2019 20:48

Let him win.

Let the lamb suckle and gorge until it is fatted no more. Then let it walk to the Autumn Fair. It’s going to be a long hard winter and the party will feast upon the boar.

Havingarethink · 12/07/2019 21:29

@A1203, As much as I agree with you about giving him anough rope and all that, I fear that he won't give a shit like his American counterpart and destroy our future and reputation all the same.

Al2O3 · 12/07/2019 21:49

He won’t get enough time. 18 months, that’s it.

FckGovtFckBoris · 12/07/2019 21:51

Let's take a stand! We can't just sit back and watch this vile creature! He doesn't deserve peace and quiet.

bellinisurge · 12/07/2019 21:54

For a start, stop calling him Boris. He's not a media phenomenon. He's a twat. Please try to call him Johnson.

Vikki69 · 13/07/2019 00:41

Maybe she broke the law in the country that she was living in...
Bugger the thought though?????????

TheSandman · 13/07/2019 00:51

I'm actually looking forward to the twat Johnson getting in. Break up of UK almost guaranteed. Sorry England, but we'll be offsy.

Flyingquestion · 13/07/2019 01:06

Disturbing imagery but I am okay with it Grin.

Not that it’s a laughing matter Sad.

I've no idea what that means. It sort of sounds appropriate though. Maybe better in Latin though?

GibbonLover · 13/07/2019 01:36

Unfortunately I'm too far away but I'm with you in spirit and have shared on FB and Twitter.

Vikki69 Your use of the word 'maybe' suggests you haven't got a fucking clue what happened to her. Maybe take the time to find out.

InTheHeatofLisbon · 13/07/2019 06:10

Maybe she broke the law in the country that she was living in...

You need to at least Google. She broke no laws, was only in Iran to see family and friends. There is absolutely no suggestion that she was there for any other reason, beyond Boris Johnson (who'd clearly done as much research as you) slavering shite which meant that her case was sunk.

She is an entirely innocent woman, no proof whatsoever otherwise, being held and mistreated in an Iranian jail, separated from her husband and young child, for absolutely no reason.

That's not an opinion, or speculation, it's a fact.

She is there because the Foreign Secretary didn't do his job.

Another fact.

timeforakinderworld · 13/07/2019 06:22

She was living in the UK.

ForalltheSaints · 13/07/2019 07:14

I know it would prompt a constitutional crisis, but I would support the Queen exercising the Royal Prerogative for the first time since I think 1839 and refusing to have Mr Johnson as Prime Minister.

There are plenty of grounds that seem reasonable to me. He is or was until recently a dual national (of the US and UK), his moral values are not in keeping with this country where we have an established Church, and I am not sure he can command a majority in the House of Commons. There will also be security advice that the Queen may have but we are not privy to.
