I love hearing people's 'last meals', so share yours!! Here's the rule:

ONE Starter
ONE Main course (with sides)
ONE Dessert
ONE drink

Mine would be:
Starter - sushi
Main course (with sides) - a really amazing dirty burger cooked rare, loads of cheese, pickles, toasted brioche roll with a crunch, truffle mayo fries, onion rings, nachos
Dessert - fruit crumble with posh vanilla ice cream
One drink - a glass of red wine grown locally to me

Just might make this on Saturday ... why wait! (Though normal duck pate perhaps)

Foie Gras Shock surely not! Disgusting cruelty

noonarna · 11/07/2019 15:26

So is your bog standard pink of milk @perhapsimight

Try it on toasted brioche with a fruity compote or caremelised onions and then come back

BMW6 · 11/07/2019 17:48

Starter - Garlic mushrooms
Main - 4 pork belly portions cooked till slightly crispy, side of chips and mayo
Dessert - Irish coffee (extra alcohol)

AlpenCrazy · 11/07/2019 22:36

Dear Lord I forgot the espresso martini Shock

Asta19 · 11/07/2019 22:43

Starter - I’d probably go for a nice light soup so as not to fill up before the main action!
Main - roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings
Desert - a Japanese Sundae. I have never seen such a thing anywhere else. They do an enormous sundae full of ice cream, fruit and fresh cream and then stick a massive wedge of cheesecake on top! I’ve never dared order one in RL as I’d be lucky to manage a quarter of it but as last meal? Yes!
Drink - a very large glass of a very expensive red wine

londonloves · 11/07/2019 22:46

Aargh yes I need a cheese course too please, with a bottle of Malbec.

MrsBungle · 11/07/2019 22:46

Starter: deep fried squid rings with loads of lime and garlic aoli

Main: lobster and chunky chips and salad also with loads of garlic aioli

Desert: sticky toffee pudding and cream

Drink: bottle of Prosecco

MrsBungle · 11/07/2019 22:48

Scrap the lobster, I’ll have what yummeee is having Grin

londonloves · 11/07/2019 22:50

This is a great thread. I had yellow freezer food with the small one for dinner tonight and I want to eat ALL the posh grown up food.

WhatsInAName19 · 11/07/2019 22:54

Starter: baked camembert with crusty white bread.

Main: Christmas dinner (but I'd have to make it myself because mine is the best one 😁)

Dessert: half spotted dick and half sticky toffee pudding (yeah I know it's cheating!) with proper homade custard.

Drink: a lovely pot of tea to have with my dessert.

SpaceCadet4000 · 12/07/2019 00:38

Starter: ceviche
Main: lobster, samphire, garlic butter, a lemon wedge, and probably just some really good bread and butter
Dessert: tiramisu
Drink: sparkling water

TigerJoy · 12/07/2019 00:53

I'm cheating but... gin martini to start with

Massive king prawns fried in chilli and garlic with amazing white bread. G&T to accompany

Lobster spaghetti, vintage champagne to drink

Fillet steak with a black truffle sauce, chips, green beans, asparagus, italian cauliflower cheese, with an amazing red wine, something heavy and smoky. Taurasi probably

Dessert trolley - tiramisu, strawberries, with dessert wine

After dinner espresso served over a ball of caramel ice cream

Bendicks bittermints to finish

I'm on a diet and have given up booze, I should never have opened this thread....!

TemporaryPermanent · 12/07/2019 01:06

Starter: British shrimps cooked on a beach fire
Main:Octopus salad the way I had it in Corsica - pretty basic but it was heaven. I will steal somebody else's champagne and have a couple of glasses.
Pudding: damson fool with plain biscuits and white cheeses. To go with a bottle of Californian black Muscat.
