Bin Day - CF Neighbours

I always put my wheelie bin out the night before collection. Just nipped out the back to add something to the bin, to be met with an overwhelming stench. On closer inspection, CF neighbours have dumped a large plastic bag full of nappies in my bin.

I'm very careful about recycling and try not to put plastic in my bin, and I also clean it! so I'm a bit taken aback. I noticed neighbour's bin is full, so obviously just put it in mine instead.
It just neighbours and myself- no other bins in our area...I'm really cross!

OP I can see your point..I try to keep my bin smell free so it wont attract maggots...it is possible if you recycle and have a food waste bin as well

Too many people who use disposable nappies are basically wrapping up shit in double plastic, no wonder they stink

CitadelsofScience · 11/07/2019 15:57

That would give me my usual bout of bin rage. We have nothing smelly in our bin, all food is put in the food waste bin. My bloody general rubbish bin is clean.

I'd never put my rubbish in someone else's bin, ever!

Who would have thought a thread about bins would have provided a clear platform where socialists and capitalists can declare themselves.

Yanbu

Just because your bin is out doesn't mean you are finished with putting rubbish in it.

I would have put the bag on the top of theirs assuming you are sure it's them.

Part of being British is never to let ones neighbours outdo you or get the better of you.
