DS1 aged 6 has had an issue with a few boys in his class this week. Normally they get on and play together, but he's been left feeling ostracised, and in his word like nobody likes him. One boy seems to be leading the 'bullying'.
I've found it really hard seeing him upset. I've emailed the school and to give them their due they seem to be on it, and hopefully it'll blow over.
But it left me thinking how can I as his parent prepare him for situations like this? I've told him to ignore them and tell the teacher, but I feel I should do more to prepare him for the future, as let's face it, kids can be bloody cruel.
Interested to hear how others approach it.
