Hi, so my almost two year old boy has decided it was a clever idea to put a very small dog biscuit into his ear i have had a look, i am unable to see it. Do you think this will come out itself? How long should i allow it to be in there before being concerned?
Thanks

Not suggesting you try this, but just thinking it could dissolve if he went swimming/had a bath. The problem is you wouldn't be sure it had all come out, though I'm imagining it couldn't be that much.

My sister once sneezed and a fossilised pea came out of her nostril. She was 10 at the time and I think she had grown out of the inserting things in nostrils a few years before.

A few years ago my son told me he’d put a bead in his ear
We didn’t have any in the house so I just put him off
Anyway I’d taken his big brother to the docs about 18 months later when he started about this bead so the doc said she’d have a look

2 minutes later I’m holding the cleanest bead I’ve ever seen!

Turns out he’d done it at his grandparents with a set my mother had bought his sister and they’d binned it but must have missed it

I’d just ask a doctor to have a look-mine did say we might have to go to a&e but not to panic

If you don't know if it's in or not, get your dog to sniff the ear - you'll soon know if there's a biscuit in there depending on DDog's reaction!
