Silverstone 2019 PLEASE HELP ☹️

My DH has got me tickets to watch the Grand Prix this Sunday- was a 40th birthday present and I’ve always wanted to go- it’s general admission. He bought two adult tickets- fine. However he’s now told me he didn’t think to buy a child ticket for our 3yr old as she would be free. 😬
Have phoned Silverstone and they don’t have any child tickets left( even though these are free) has anyone got a spare child ticket for this Sunday?
I can’t get a baby sitter on that day, no one wants to go with me- so any help or advice would be appreciated.

I went few years ago and a friend brought his son and got the ticket for free directly there. They have probably changed the policies now?
Have you tried contacting some F1 club to see if they have spare children tickets?
If not, I would probably risk it and show up at the gate very early and ask for an exception or if they got any cancellations...

We are off to Silverstone on Thursday and this morning received an email from the with last minutes pointers etc. It had this paragraph

Ticket Information
Please note a valid entry ticket is required to access the venue. This also includes free Sunday and weekend child tickets which need to have been pre-requested at time of ticket purchase

I am not sure I would turn up with your DC as you may not be allowed in :( I hope you can get it sorted and have a great day

Is there an British GP Facebook page ? I would ask the question on there
I know with festivals pages people often have tickets going
