I've read on a few threads now about this but never heard of it so I've just looked on amazon. There's so many to choose from! Which ones are the nicest smelling?

My three favourites are villages and monasteries, fig and almond milk and coconut and frangipane (I think that's what it's called!)

The monasteries one did pique my interest. My grandparents married at at monastery and my mum went to school there too so I have a fascination with them a little. I'm not keen on anything too fruity or floral but fig and frangipani sounds nice. I don't think anywhere local sells them so I can only order online which means I can't smell them all first.

It is lovely soap but I found that it would really clog my plughole compared to liquid handwash. My favourite is Portofino.

I was gifted a box of 6 "vegetable" ones - tomato, cucumber, lettuce etc. I found that they all had the same smell (just "soapy" really), but then I'm not sure what I would expect/want them to smell like anyway in those scents! Anyway what I was going to say was that I've seen them in TK Maxx, so may be worth a look in there if you have one near you. I might give some different ones a try having read this post, I do love a nice soap :)

One of the ingredients

Sodium palmate (from sustainable plantation); sodium palm kernelate

If you want to avoid palm oil then this soap isn’t suitable.

Thank you Soola that really helps me choose which variety of this soap to buy Hmm

I love them. The cypress one is my favourite.

Have you looked at Dr Bronner’s soap? They have bars as well as liquid soap

If you have a John Lewis near you they sell them so you could have a sniff!
