Phoning in sick to work

Hi

I've got labrynthitis and have bee sixk and dizzy all day. Phoned boss today, taken day off all good. She rang back at 5pm (after I had been sick again) So I said I would need to take tomorrow off as well.

But I'm feeling much better now. I've not been sick or hours and have eaten some toast and kept it down. If I still feel ok in the morning (not 100% but a lot better), is it best to go in tomorrow morning having told them I wasn't, or to stay off and get 100% for wednesday?

Thanks!

Leave it until the morning. If you feel fine, go in.

I would stay off, I've had It before and even after the sickness and dizziness went I needed a couple of days to get back to full strength again. It's horrible. Hope you get back to 100% soon op.

A lot of employers have a 48 hour sickness policy. Maybe they are just being overly cautious.

Labyrinthitis is horrible- but try the manoevre in this video, it does usually work even if you have to try it a few times.
