...do you think must be in photo 10 for them to only list it in black and white?

Bright yellow. With lime green for the darker bits round the loo. That's a very distinctive pattern on the toilet, you don't see many like that. Oh, and tan lino.

That is hilarious! Who do they think they are kidding?!

I’m going for a dusky pink colour.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 09/07/2019 00:12

Maybe it's pink.

Surfingtheweb · 09/07/2019 00:48

It's one that needs to be ripped out & replaced so factor that in your offer 😂

MoltonSilver · 09/07/2019 01:04

It's not a black and white photo.

NewYoiker · 09/07/2019 01:08

Haha!! Having looked at this house when it was last on the market ages ago I can say it's not a black and white photo it's just filtered..

I found the previous listing too ..

Yes looking at the previous sold prices same pic but in colour - it’s a grey ombré suite.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 09/07/2019 17:59

Why so filtered? That's not as offensive as I thought it would be!

But then I grew up in a house with a burgundy suite, with a corner bath.

I sort of miss coloured baths etc.... white is boring.

Where I live most of the houses in the surrounding streets are owned by OAPs (not a dig, just what the zoopla house price list shows) and the houses haven't been updated since the 60s/70s, some earlier.

Had a look at some that'd come up for sale and they had the most amazing coloured bathroom suits, kitchens, wallpaper and carpets. I loved looking at all the pics! If I ever win the lottery need anywhere from 700k-1.3mil to buy around here I'd have trouble renovating - dh wouldn't though!

We went to see a Victorian house that had an amazing pale yellow bathroom from the 1920s. Huge freestanding cast iron bath. Lovely porcelain loo and sink. Absolutely top notch and still in amazing condition. The vendors said they hadn’t had the heart to replace it plus you’d never get that quality now.

nikkylou · 09/07/2019 22:44

I think it's actually that colour...well maybe the contrast is a bit out on the photo. The window is still coloured. It's really bright outside but you can see the tiniest shade of green and the dark wood of the window, in keeping with the rest of the house.

It's something of an achievement to have that colourless a room though, right down to the plant / thing on the side.
