Anyone bought a bed from the Cotswold Company?

Would you recommend?

I haven't bought a new bed for about 20 years so have no idea how to choose! Just wondered if anyone had anything good (or bad) to say about the Cotswold Co?

I would recommend avoiding.

I ordered a sofa through them, waited 12 weeks for it to arrive, had carefully checked provided measurements to ensure it would fit...delivery men gave it a half hearted go and refused to try again.

I agreed later that day with their customer services team that they would deliver it to a storage unit so my removal men could bring it in. Kept paying for the storage unit for a further 2 months, chasing CC for a delivery date every week. After 7 weeks I was told the sofa I had paid for 19 weeks previously had been sold to someone else and I would have to wait while another was made. Needless to say I asked for a refund.

Ordered a sofa of the exact same dimensions from John Lewis, it was delivered 5 days later and took the delivery men under 5 minutes.

A friend also ordered a toy chest for her child and was told it was out of stock after waiting a number of weeks for a delivery date. Totally unreliable in my experience!

We decided against them, as we found this place local to us whose stuff I think is lovely, and very similar. Ordered a bed from them, it was made, delivered and put together no problem, with all rubbish etc removed. I’d recommend.

Thanks both. Sounds like a real palava @Garby, I'll check out JL! Have bought beds from them before and they have been great, so will maybe go with them!

Not a bed, but I had a sideboard from them, no problems at all. Great item, fast delivery. I will definitely buy from them again.
