EU free interrail pass

Has anyone applied for this? Just wondered how easy it is to get accepted. Family friend is interested for next year as is DS.

DD applied this year but didn't get one. The application was fairly easy up to the last question which was a guesstimate type elimination question.

That's a shame. What sort of thing did she have to guess?
