Anyone see them? Can you please tell me what it was like? Am a massive, massive fan and events conspired against me and alas I missed my favourite band in the world. I'd very much enjoy reliving the set through you. I know as a grown women this is rather sad but I can't help myselfSmile

Are you in the U.K.? If so you can watch their set on BBC IPlayer.

pontiouspilates · 07/07/2019 16:48

It was a slow,. Slighty disappointing start, but then it was utterly bloody brilliant! Do watch on iPlayer if you are able to. Hard to believe Robert Smith is 60!

Tonightisee · 07/07/2019 17:23

Can't get BBC iplayer. I 1st saw them when I was 17, an utterly magical experience that's somehow never left me, so I'm always curious about their gigs. I've shed everything about my 17 year self, except for my love of the cure!

It was fantastic. A set for the older fans plus all the 'poppier' hits. Robert Smith in magnificent voice. I bloody loved it (watching from the comfort of home).

AndromedaPerseus · 07/07/2019 17:31

Try YouTube for individual songs but you probably won’t get the whole concert

MsRinky · 07/07/2019 17:59

Not Glastonbury, but the set at Hyde Park last summer has a global cinema release next week. I was there, it was magical.

milliememum · 07/07/2019 18:22

Awesome!!!!!! Recorded it and rewatched it on Monday as well Smile

Rystall · 07/07/2019 18:25

It was incredible!! I’ve rewatched it about 3 times since. What a blast of nostalgia and as PPs have said, Robert Smith’s voice sounds amazing. There’s something incredible cute & endearing about him too.... he got all shy and overcome at the end. Guess what I’ve been listening to non stop on Spotify 😍😍. I’m smiling again thinking about it......

Rystall · 07/07/2019 18:26

Also.... not sure where in the world you are... but they are currently on a world tour. Are they playing anywhere near you ??

TremblingFanjo · 07/07/2019 18:28

It looked great on the telly. try this: Disintegration, all of it, in one go. Somewhere I've got a link for Pornography :

MenuPlant · 07/07/2019 18:29

They really did do a crowd pleasing set, I enjoyed it very much

Went to see them once, disintegration tour. Makes me feel a bit old when I look at year of that!

DeadButDelicious · 07/07/2019 18:31

They were amazing. I recorded it. I may have to watch it again tonight. I saw them live in 2016 and it was one of the best nights of my life. I'm a huge fan and my mum is too so I grew up with them. We would watch the staring at the sea video and the cure in orange over and over again.

They just did the whole of disintegration live at the The Sydney opera house and streamed it on YouTube, it's 2 and a half hours but well worth a watch.

(Disintegration is the best album ever.)

girlofthenorth · 07/07/2019 18:44

Not at Glastonbury but saw them at Hyde park last year and it was AMAZING- am seeing the film this week (big fan ) . They play almost every year so hope you catch them soon !

MyGastIsFlabbered · 07/07/2019 19:26

I had tickets for Hyde Park last year but couldn't go (thanks dickhead ex Angry) However I have tickets for the screening of the concert which is a small consolation.
