Poor at the moment and big bill due, so decided to recruit oldest child into selling some of our stuff with me at a local car boot sale. It was great, got rid of quite a bit of unwanted items from our house and created some space in the wardrobes. I made over £100 ,very happy for a few hours sitting on a deck chair in the sun! From what I've read here I think the local one was quite sedate, no dealers going through my stuff or in my car, mainly people looking at an item, asking a price, then returning again and again trying to get it cheaper, one persistant woman trying to buy my River Island , £3 for £1 at the end, I didnt sell it to her as we went to the local charity shop on the way home and dropped all the leftover stuff off there. I did however end up buying a couple of nice top for 50p each.
