In the first picture it looks like it has eight legs so I think it's a spider.

That's nothing like a bed bug - don't worry, they are quite distinctive and that isn't one. It's a spider

It's not a flea either (wrong shape colour and size). You don't have bed bugs or fleas. (or cockroaches or scorpions)

Nah, I was reading about them the other day, they're absolutely tiny. Don't panic!

Yup, not a bedbug. Bedbugs are kind of roundish and flat.
