How many? Where are they? Did they hurt? Will you be getting anymore?

I'll Start.
Thinking of getting a few. I have 3 holes in each ear and my nose pierced. I have had my lip pierced in the middle and left side at the bottom and Madonna, but took all my lip piercings out. None of them hurt.

There's quite a few I fancy. Love cheek (dimples) and surface piercings especially.

Aside from my ears (2 piercings in one ear, one in the other), I had a naval piercing. I had to give up; the body rejected it twice.

I would love to have my nipples pierced but given my experience shown above, it’s a non starter. Neither do I have the courage.

Tragus, didn’t hurt but I heard the crunch. Belly button done in the very early nineties with a gun, before they knew better, but didn’t hurt and healed really well that it is still open despite not having worn it for over 20 years. Nose also done with a gun (80s) but never healed properly, so didn’t wear past a year. I didn’t allow my daughter to even have her earlobes pierced with a gun.

Belly button - more painful than any of my tattoos, had to take it out as I'm pregnant and it is a nasty red scar, if you'd told me 12 years ago it would look like this I would have waited until after children.

I want more in my ears but can't at present.

Would love my lip doing, but had a lot of dental work as a teenager and the damage they do to your teeth really put me off.

Tragus - first piercing, they used a numbing spray, didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Still got it 20 yrs later.

Other ear I had scaffolded, found it hard to sleep on, that came out after 5 months.

Nipple piercing, that grew out after 6 months.

Tongue piercing - kept that in until I got too old worried about my teeth and the damage it might be doing to my enamel, about 4 years.

Genuine question. Always been fascinated by the decision to have a lot of piercings especially in on the face. Can I ask why ?

From the point of view (literally) of someone looking at a face with lots of piercings- I (completely personal opinion) have never seen anyone who would not look more attractive without them. So I suppose my question is - do you like lots of piercings because you see it as an attractive enhancement (all people have different views of attraction and beauty is in the eye of the beholder)) or is it more of a 'fuck off' to social niceties, I don't care if I look scary/weird in fact - that makes me happy - lm off to have a couple more' ..

I really hope this doesn't come across as goady, it isn't meant to. It's just questions I've always wanted to ask (irl) those with lots of piercings but couldn't .

I have 5 ear piercings- lobes, 1 upper lobe, 1 helix, 1 daith. I’d like my rook or forward helix done, but probably I need to stop where I am.

Mine are just a small act of rebellion against being a sensible, middle-aged mother with a very sensible job. In particular the daith makes me smile every time I see it. It reminds me that there is another me- waiting to no longer be responsible for DC, that’s the one planning the post-retirement rail trip around Asia.

I have 6, double lobes, a helix done 20 years ago with a gun. Helix piercing with a gun was painful and it got infected.
I had a forward helix 8 months ago but took it out when the ball fell off. Really regretted doing that so had it repierced 2 weeks ago.
It didn't hurt much the first time, a bit more the second time but quite manageable.
Like queen of Louisiana it is a small act of rebellion against my somewhat suburban life with 2 kids and an NHS job.
Would like more bit not sure what and it is a faff having to clean new piercings.

Very outing if you know me but sod it!

Had them all since late teens when I dated a chap who worked in a piercing parlour. Took most my ear piercings out a few years ago, put them all back in one day last year when I was bored just to see if I could!

I never got any in my face because knowing my luck that would have been the one that got infected, and I don’t think the holes left behind when you remove them look very good.

Meant to put this on the post above, this was soon after the second piercing. Clearly will need a shorter more interesting bit of jewellery once healed.

Three in each lobe plus two helix in left ear. And one nose. So 9 altogether. Want more ear piercings but undecided where yet.

I’m so boring, just have one in my ear lobes! I used to have both upper ears done but one never healed and the other fell out when I was on holiday and by the time I noticed it had closed over. I’ve always wanted to have my tragus done but never have, still might one day (again, as a rebellion from being a proper adult!), and having googled various piercings mentioned above I fancy a few more now!

1 custom one that my piercer and I decided on. Where the Conch goes nore or less, but 2 holes with a half ring in that goes through one out the back and then in the other if that makes sense.

2 in lobe, 1 tragus and belly piercing. Did debate my tongue but I had just had my teeth straightened and remember talking to someone that damaged their teeth with theirs so put an end to that! Lobes didn’t hurt but I just casually stopped wearing them one day, tragus didn’t hurt but I heard a crunch/pop and my friend caught it the same day with an over enthusiastic hug and it took a year to properly heal! Belly piercing didn’t hurt just bled first day. Took that out now I’m pregnant. I wouldn’t get anymore now just because the novelty has worn off and I have removed all but 1. If I was younger I would probably have got more ear piercings as I really wanted a third lobe piercing as well at one point but never got round to it

I got my nose pierced in my late teens (20yrs ago), I pulled it out when I left Uni.

I had a double helix for years but decided to pull it out when I got married.

Had two holes on each ear lobe, tbh I only use one piercing on each ear lobe. I do switch though so the holes don't close up.

I have 4 in one ear, 3 in the other. Right side is 3 lobe and a tragus, left is 2 lobe and a rook. Rook was most painful and by far the longest healer.

Will have more ear piercings but as yet undecided as my cartilage takes so long to heal!

I have 14.

4 in my left ear. 5 in my right ear (including tragus and top ear). Nose, belly button, tongue and both nipples.

I actually found the tragus the most painful but nipples took the longest to heal.

I’ve got 3 in my lobes, 2 helix (plus several more that didn’t make it!), tragus and nose plus belly button which I took out when I got fat! I’m considering getting my daith done but worried that pesky baby will keep knocking it. I don’t have any tattoos as could never decide what I wanted but love my mild rebellion in the form of piercings!

Had my eyebrow done when I was younger and hate the scar.

Nipple was the most painful, nose makes your eyes water, but the others where fine and didn't really hurt.

VCH and nipples hurt the most. I only have a handful of those now. My next is septum though!

I have 3 - one in each lobe and I've just recently had my tragus done. I'd wanted it done for about 2 years, but it took DD dragging me to the piercing parlour to actually do the deed. Like some PPs I did as a small act of middle-aged rebellion. DH isn't keen but has just said that it's my body. I love it. I've taken extremely good care of it and have only had a little bit of swelling after about three weeks which the parlour had warned me about.

I now would like to have another piercing in each lobe and then I'll be done. I'm going to wait about a year to ensure the tragus is completely healed. I won't take any out as even now, 40 years later, my lobes shut if I leave my earrings out for more than a day.

I've got 17 in my ears and have my belly button done.
I frequently contemplate more, but they are so mainstream now, it puts me off.

I've got three in each earlobe, my tragus, tongue, and lip (centre) done - I can still get jewellery in those.

I've also allowed my navel (top and bottom) and nipple to close up. I was thinking about getting another done in my ear but I just booked another tattoo so I might wait for a little while for that 😁
