Really annoying food.

I went out lunch today and ordered a bacon and avocado sandwich. Lovely, I thought. Except I didn't read the menu properly and when it came it was an open sandwich. Which isn't even a fucking thing - a sandwich is two pieces of bread, together with the filling in the middle and I refuse to be swayed from this.

So there I am with my pathetic open sandwich which was impossible to eat without everything falling off it, balancing the thing and trying to negotiate into my gob was like a workout. Then my last piece of bacon ended up on the floor. Mightily pissed off.

When I got home I was still hungry (probably from my workout) so rumaged around for a packed of crisps. Hurrah, I found a packet of cheese and onion. BUT one of the crisps was like a bastarding dagger and pierced the roof of my mouth and broke with a bit still in the roof of my mouth which I had to remove with tweezers. I'm pretty sure food is not supposed to hurt you when you eat it.

So, that's two things that I've eaten today that have pissed me right off. Surely I can't be the only person to find some food really fucking annoying?

Drinky yoghurts. They are wrong and they creep me out.

Years back I went to a lovely pub (well-known for fabulous seasonal food) with some friends for a meal.
I ordered half a pint of shrimps as a starter, and some others followed on from my lead.
When the food arrived, it was indeed whole shrimps in a half pint mug - just as a traditional fishmonger would sell it to you (but they obviously use the mug to measure them).
The idea of having to peel their own shrimps didn't go well with some of the diners, so they gave up very quickly.
I happily ploughed my way through mine (they were lovely)!

Oh I would struggle with this too - I can't stand getting all messy when I'm eating, I even hate eating chips from the chippy without a fork.
