Hi
I’ve never been to the foohall or the shop before. I’m in Leeds. Is there anything you recommend for a treat?

Hopeful bump, happy to widen to M&S also close by and more affordable.

You can go to M&S anytime. Go to HN
Just buy some chocolate if that’s all you can afford, or if you prefer savoury they do some really nice nuts and crackers

I remember them doing some rather good Earl Grey biscuits.

I find the sweets / snacks they stock to be quite unremarkable beyond the packaging... little independent cafes or delis often do better items. So I’d rather have a cocktail or dessert in their cafe and leave without a food souvenir. Whatever you choose, I hope it feels special, have fun!

I think it's nice just to wander around HN and see what takes your fancy.

Thanks. I got some pesto because I don’t often see it without cheese. Definitely out of my league - I felt stupid not realising that they wouldn’t do contactless.

bag the staff in there are usually lovely no matter how little you spend.
It’s not out of your league and I didn’t know about the contactless either so don’t worry about it
