Looking to branch out from our normal holidays at home. Thinking about Germany and possibly going all inclusive.

Near a beach/pool/lake
Good food
Good for ages 4-12
Lots to do at resort or around it
Not ridiculously expensive (after being in Martinhal I can’t afford it ever again!)

How about Austria? I would recommend this hotel. It is near Lake Achensee, you can borrow bikes to cycle down to the lake or it’s a very doable walk. There is swimming in the lake, boat rental, and the ferry to take you to other places. Lots of hill walking to do.

Excellent kids club. It’s a Kinderhotel, so families only and all set up. All inclusive for food, but not drinks. The hotel runs activities for adults as well as the kids. Spa on site. Indoor pool and outdoor natural swimming pond. There are interesting day trips you can do yourself. And the surroundings are stunning.

Thanks both. I’ve been out all day so didn’t get a chance to reply. Both look fab and we would consider other countries. Italy Austria France.
