Soda stream

Anyone have one, recommend jt?

We're reducing our plastic use and have a big sparkling water habit - 10 2l bottles on average. I fill my bottle for work, from the plastic bottle in the fridge. Which seems pointless.

We bought one for the same reason, DD rightly had a go at me for buying it one day. Tbh the sparkling water doesn't taste as nice as the fancy Italian water I buy sometimes (which is in glass bottles anyway so can recycle) but it is just as good as the supermarket stuff in plastic bottles. You can also use it for mixers like tonic water that usually come in plastic bottles too which is good.

We bought one a month ago as it was reduced and use it all the time - massive reduction in plastic bottle usage at home.

We bought a SodaStream Spirit water maker recently. Water tastes good and I feel good about the reduced plastic and nice not to have to lug bottles home. On downside definitely more expensive than the 17p water I used to buy from Lidl. I’m pleased we bought it though and would recommend.

Look up their politics and where they are made

Interested as I have a similar plastic issue with fizzy water. They seem very expensive- any recommendations?

I use mine multiple times a day and have saved thousands of plastic bottles for landfill since we got it 4 years ago. It is more expensive and you need to be organised about keeping spare gas and sending back the old canisters but definitely worth it!

Pathetic. Sodastream has done so much for equality, respect, equal pay, promotion, fairness and bridge building in the area. It is people like you who make peace impossible. Bore off and take your ill informed bigotry elsewhere.

I love a nice bit of anti-Israel rhetoric with my sparkling water!
