Best suncream for sensitive skin

Please recommend a high factor, (preferably water resistant) suncream for my DD with sensitive skin.

We used Ambre Solaire sensitive factor 50 last year with no trouble but put it on DD this year and she’s all red and itchy. Boots brand did the same.

Before I spend a fortune on suncream that’ll mess up her skin please recommend a good one for kids (and me!) with sensitive, eczema prone skin. Thanks

My DSS had eczema and very sensitive skin. We use Avon kids sun cream. He doesn't react to it and he's never burnt. It's spf 50 and water resistant.

This was brilliant for my DD who had very sore wrists, back if legs and inside elbows (was recommended by GP):

I use for myself and my son with neurodermitis La Roche-Posay suncrems; www.escentual.com has currently 1/3rd off French products.

Ultrasun all the way. Saw it recommended on a thread last year. Bought it for my holiday and I was totally sold on it.

It's not got a chemical smell, absorbs well and gives great sun protection.

We use the family 400ml factor 30. It's in a pump dispenser. Also have the face one.

Best place to get it is amazon. I paid £36 for it 2 weeks ago.

We normally use ultrasun but have used childs farm this year which has been great.

Thanks everyone, will see if I can get some little samples or testers tomorrow when we go to the big department stores. Smile

We had the same problem with DS, fine one year, not the next.
Went through a few creams.

Only one that works for us is aldi spf50.
They do a 50 sensitive too which we also use.

La Roche Posay (it’s $$$$$$ though)

AlwaysDancing1234 · 06/07/2019 20:17

Thank everyone, a few to try out then, I’m going to be skint as all the good ones seem to be £££
