We have a week off all together mid August. We don't want to go away as we are going to be going on holiday at the end of the month and don't want the added cost of another week of pet sitters. We would like ideas please for day trips, things to do at home and maybe the odd night away where we can bring the dog. We have a car and a family rail card. We have two children under 10 and live in Gloucestershire. Also any top tips for making it feel like a holiday would be appreciated. Thanks
