Picnic ideas

If you had 10minutes to run into Asda this morning to get some food for a picnic what would you buy?

Forgot to get stuff whilst doing the shopping the other day and am looking for some inspiration.

Who for? Adults or children?

Veg sticks (peppers, cucumbers etc)
Quiche
Strawberries and cream
French stick
Cheese
Ham
Olives

Ready made sarnies
A fruit pack each
A drink each
Some crisps or a bar of chocolate or some cake bars

French stick
Pack of chorizo / salami etc
Olives
Brie

Bread sticks
Houmous
Mini sausages
Cheesy french stick
Crisps
Olives
Strawberries
Grapes
Cherries
Bottles of water/ready made juice

Cans of Pimms and a pork pie

Really depends on who for and type of picnic - having to be carried round in a backpack all day v nice relaxed spot next to a river v hurried snack on crowded train.

Can you tell I get a bit carried away with picnics 😁

French bread, pate, pork pies, wine, water, crisps, Brie/Camembert if they are ripe. . Nothing sugary because of bees and wasps, but I’d want to be near somewhere to get an ice cream.
