I got blood test results today all good except my ferritin levels were very low so i am severly anaemic. I dont feel tired or anything so a bit of a shock what type of iron is good for ferritin levels thanks.

Floradix. Liquid is great but they also do a tablet

If you're severely anaemic, will your GP not prescribe something? I was described as severely anaemic a few months ago and the GP insisted on prescribing, said that anything I could buy myself wouldn't be strong enough to deal with it.

Iron tablets make me sick but I've used Feroglobin slow release iron tablets successfully (Tesco do them and Superdrug/Boots some branches)

Floradix liquid (or grains in capsule form) or Boots own Feroglobin liquid. The liquid, plant-based iron supplements don't make you constipated and the change in your wellbeing is almost immediate.
