No. Not the old complaint of
What does your dh do that annoys you?
He breathes.

But dh has noticeably become louder breathing to the point of it really irritating.me.
I've expressed my concern and asked if he thinks he should ask his doctor about it.
He thinks I'm having a go at him and won't go.

He's a large fella who snores.
I think it's related.
He also hugely thinks doctors are a massive waste of time and no nagging from me will make him go.

Sigh.

Same here!! I sometimes have to go to the bottom of the bed😤 so loud!! I hate it

iceicebby · 03/07/2019 22:50

It's like he gets asthma at night, it sounds like he's struggling to breath. But he isn't. Then he can start snoring as well and by then I'm ready to put a pillow over his face

This is during the daytime. While he's awake and sitting up but relaxed

Adenoids I suspect. My brother had the op in his late twenties it had got so bad.

Same here. My husband is currently snoring like a train. His waking breathing is loud as fuck too. It can get really annoying if I’m already in an off kilter mood. Besides it being nasal issues I blame most of it on his obesity. He’d probably stop snoring as much if he lost some weight. I speak from experience with a previous partner who lost about 30 lbs and his snoring was greatly reduced. It frees up the passageways.

Then again, I had another ex who actually had sleep apnea. He slept with a CPAP machine to get enough oxygen.

FrancisofAss · 04/07/2019 03:52

I am ready to push mine out of bed today. I can’t sleep for a variety of reasons, I’m exhausted and he’s snuffling away next to me like an asthmatic badger. He keeps snoring and in between that breathing really heavily but mainly he’s abloodysleep and I’m not so right now I hate him with every fibre of my being (I love him really). Having recently shared a hotel room with my teen dc, they repeatedly informed me that of the two of dh and I, I am the far worse snorer Blush but he benefits from being the MUCH heavier sleeper. Bloody man.

OP - on a serious note, yes, I think your DP should be checked out by a Dr too.
