WTF is going on with my FB feed re photos???

All of a sudden today, there are no photos on my feed, instead there is a little message saying 'image may contain...' and then a description. One of them says 'image may contain plant, flower and'.

Bizarre. Is this happening to anybody else, and if it is just me, then how do I get it to go back to normal?

Happening to dh and i too, probably sort itself out soon.

Yes, it's been happening to me all day. Must be a FB problem, so I'd say it'll sort itself out in time.

Separate point but what is this "top posts" thing with social media sites these days? Why can't I just see the posts I want to see in reverse chronological order? They've even started doing it in groups now. So annoying to keep having to select recent posts. Does anyone work for a social media company who can explain?

I just have blank posts. I want descriptions dammit! Then at least I can imagine what's in the pics.

Oh I don't even have descriptions now either, just a tantalising void.

The recent posts thing is annoying. It means that posts from a few days ago get lots of attention but posts from an hour ago get lost really far down the list.

I'm not getting the descriptions but I wonder if that means they're rolling out some sort of picture recognition thing a bit like that Google Glass where you're meant to be able to search for and buy something by taking a photo of an item?

I'm glad I've seen this post. I've been switching my phone on and off to try and get it to work properly. At least I can stop doing that now.
You'd think Facebook would post something letting people know they are dealing with the problem so they know it's not their devices or internet.
