Pinterest and FB suddenly won't load - anymore know why?

On my phone. Everything else works fine. I really don't know why and I'm panicking because I use them for work. It's been like this since yesterday. I've reinstalled the apps and switched on mobile data. No joy.

Can you help?

Switch off the phone and back on again.
Update the apps (I know you've reinstalled already but worth a shot)
This may work. It worked for me last week on an app that wasn't opening after a phone update.

Have you accidentally installed parental controls somewhere?

I don't think so but it's a newish Internet connection so they may have turned something on. It was working fine yesterday afternoon. Nothing changed. It really was from one minute to the next.

I'll try what you have suggested and do that bit of my work in a cafe this morning.

I cannot get to the bottom of this. Now, I cannot log in to either of them from any of my devices either here or in a cafe. I did not change any settings. Yesterday I could load facebook outside the house but now I can't do it at all.

What on earth is going on?

If I google either website, I instantly get a 'secure connection timed out' message.

Hi,that exact thing happened to me on my old Windows phone! Had to upgrade phone in the end.

Thanks for replying. That does not sound promising! It is weird that it is happening across dvices. None of them are old, really.

I have been reading that some other people are having troubles and they began in the same way mine did - with FB not being able to load UK English. The advice is to contact them but I can't as it now instantly tells me I have no interntet connection (which I do have).
