Help! Tramadol.

Is it possible to feel as if you’re on a comedown after only 50mg of Tramadol?
I took it around 10pm last night - only had less than 2 hours sleep - I was sweaty, when I closed my eyes I could see shapes and people behind my eye lids. I googled closed eye hallucinations. My skin is tingling, I feel dizzy, dry mouth and on edge and I’m sure my pupils are dilated!

Is it possible to be a comedown on only one tablet of 50mg?
First time taking it - prescribed for pain.
Oh, and I didn’t have any ‘high’.

I’m freaking out a bit!

It’s not an unusual reaction, that’s what happened to me when I was prescribed it. It wore off the next day, but if you are worried call 111 for further advice.
You have my sympathies, it’s bloody horrible! I had it for back pain and could have done without it making me feel worse.

I can’t believe it on only 50mg and one tablet ever!
I’ve been googling all night and panicking I was heading for a heart attack or a stroke.
It’s horrible - I hope to fuck it wears off soon. It’s been hours now.

I am pretty drug tolerant (on opiod psyches) and I can't tolerate tramadol at all. Makes me exactly as you are and brands I'm in pain and knackered from no sleep and on the edge emotionally.

I have now given up with it completely but find I could take it much earlier on in the day, but I never found it was that good at killing pain. Don't be afraid to go back to your Dr and tell them this as they should be able to offer you alternatives

I can’t remember exactly how long it was when I took it but I do know I moved on to diazepam and codeine later that day, which worked.
Do phone 111 or your Gp when they open though, if you are still worried.

Thanks for your replies and so relieved that this is a thing. Mouth still really dry, body tingling and numb, dizzy and when I close my eyes I’m seeing spiders and just watched what was a sped up version of a mother hugging 2 little girls, one of the little girls playing in mud and then ended up getting covered in the mud but it seemed so sinister. Think I’ll keep my eyes open for now, and call the GP at 8:30.
