It takes a good few uses to start to work. I use mine twice a day every day and only really notice any effect after a week or so.

I find it best to squirt, sniff deeply and then tip my head forward.

Oh thanks arrowfanatic, just feeling a bit low and desperate !

you seem to have got the wrong spray. for a cold otrivine (chorhexa...)
works in minutes.

2strands · 02/07/2019 19:07

You need otravine. Works in minutes.

sackrifice · 02/07/2019 19:08

Clarinaze has worked wonders for me this year.

TheFirstOHN · 02/07/2019 19:10

4-5 days. But you have to use it regularly.
It's a preventer medicine rather than a reliever medicine.

TheFirstOHN · 02/07/2019 19:11

Beconase is an appropriate treatment for someone who is prone to blocked sinuses. It's not wrong at all.

orangeshoebox · 02/07/2019 19:15

beconase (and other steroid sprays) are great fir hayfever and inflamed sinusus but thy don't work immediately.

GreyHairDontCare3 · 02/07/2019 19:15

I've found a sinus wash is better and I feel better instantly after

Tidypidy · 02/07/2019 19:15

I have awful hay fever and it's my sinuses that cause the most trouble. I get migraine-like pain. I take Fexofenidine daily which helps. A dr recommended a sinus wash too but I don't fancy it! Might be something to try though.
