This came up last night. I was wearing sun cream yesterday. It’s lumpy but not sore or itchy. Looks kind of gross.

I think you can get a sweat-rashy type of reaction with certain kinds of heavy sun cream. Basically the chemicals in the cream sit on top of your skin and build up, so sweat, grease and skin cells stick on and can't come off naturally.

The sun cream was a new one and quite thick and sticky. Urgh buying sun cream is a nightmare

I be this on my chest every time I sunbathe. I think it's because I sweat, mixed with the heat and sun cream = itchy heat rash. If it's itchy try not to itch it. I usually put sudocrem on overnight and it's fine in a couple days.

Prickly heat?

UnderPompeii · 02/07/2019 17:10

If it was suncream I sympathise, have had real trouble finding anything that my DS doesn't react to. Someone on here recommended MooGoo and its been fine. Not cheap but maybe wort a try.

Another vote for heat rash/sun related rash.

Looks like heat rash.
I got this so often on my hols but finally realised it was due to wearing perfume! I.e I had a shower and got ready for the evening entertainment the previous night, didn't shower again after getting in then went out into the heat the next morning.
Don't wear perfume in the sun!
