I was talking with a close friend yesterday, she’s just been to Glastonbury and had a great time. Her DP is into festivals so they have been going to a few. But I’ve realised she always gets into the hobby of her partner, eg her previous DP liked rugby so they went to matches, she followed his team, travelled to events. But now she doesn’t go anymore since splitting up with him. Another guy loved comedy and she was always telling me about good comedians to go and see and then we went together. We haven’t done that in years. And before that at university her boyfriend was into climbing. I think she even got some kind of certificate or instructor thing but she doesn’t do it now.
Is it common for people to do that? My current DP does singing groups and I can’t see myself going along with him but maybe that’s because I can’t sing!
