My cat needs a tooth out, I've been given an itemised costing of £587.

Of course our pet insurance on close inspection doesn't cover dental work. Anyone know if this sounds about right?

My cat had hers out last year - it was around £230 and it was covered by insurance

Not sure price wise, but a lot of insurance won’t cover dental

Cost me about that for my cat recently, but it was a canine that had to come out and it took a lot of work.

I would phone around all the local vets to ask for prices. I got quoted nearly £500 for my dog to have a tooth out, ended up going to another vet and having it out plus scale and polish for about £170.
