With this section of wall? The radiator was moved here before we moved in and it’s made this whole section unavailable for furniture!

What would you do? Moving the radiator isn’t an option so what would you do with this bloody useless wall? Put up shelves? Make a family photo area? I have no idea.

Change the radiator to a vertical one and put an arm chair there and some pictures.

Fancy radiator cover with shelf on top and a lamp and armchair beside

Mummoomoocow · 02/07/2019 13:16

@Hmmmbop we can’t change or move the radiator unfortunately

@Badwifey I like the idea of a fancy radiator cover, do you have any examples?

What room is it?

Mummoomoocow · 02/07/2019 13:17

@GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat it’s the living room

Move the clock to the middle and get a nicer bigger clock with two pictures either side.

Hmmmbop · 02/07/2019 13:19

Radiator covers significantly reduced the output though.

Mummoomoocow · 02/07/2019 13:19

@ThePhoenixRises oh I like that idea, almost like a mantelpiece set up!

Hmmbop ah that would be a big problem, it’s quite draughty and I’m worried about what it might b like come winter

I like the bottom left. My mam has a couple. I don't notice the difference heat wise.

You could also get a nice breakfast bar in that space with a couple of chairs.

You would have to check the size so it would be taller and wider than the radiator, so it slots over the radiator.
