A family member is suddenly experiencing severe mental health issues, serious delusions of stalking, familiar people being cloned to follow them etc. I can't go too into it incase they stumble across this searching. They don't use mumsnet but might still find it.
But they are adamant that the delusions are real and are refusing to see a GP. This has come on over the last couple of weeks and we aren't sure of the cause but are thinking it could be down to the medication Cytomel. The GP is unable to intervene without the person's consent.
What is the next step when someone is as poorly as this and won't see a gp?
