tetrapaks are no longer accepted for recycling by my council

Yes, our recycling is amazing and they accept all sorts of plastics including carrier bags. Everything goes into one big blue wheelie bin and is collected fortnightly.

We can only put plastic bottles in our kerbside collection for recycling - no tetrapaks, no yogurt pots or plastic tubs, no plastic lids...

They never have been where I am. Unless they changed it very briefly, then stopped again, and I missed it. They also stopped recycling food waste after spending millions giving us all food caddies and bombarding us with leaflets etc about putting our food waste out!

You can check where you can recycle tetrapacks here. In my area it lists a couple of my local council tips and two large supermarkets.
