I have finally got round to signing up for my local company shop as I work for the NHS.
I am planning a trip tomorrow but wondered if anyone had been recently and what the offering/ savings were?

Thanks

Savings were immense apparently. Steaks for less than £2! My friend spoke highly of it!

I'm getting a bit too excited about going. We're having a house warming on Saturday so I'm hoping for some bargain party food!

I have been once and didn't think much of it. A lot of stuff had been sold so I suppose you need to get there early.

The dates tend to be short on fresh stuff so may be too early to shop for Saturday.

It's a little bit hit and miss but you can get some cracking deals. I once got full joints of beef brisket for £2!! And the chocolate and sweets luke the quality Street that aren't in boxes etc are always a good deal. If you don't see much, keep trying as they get new stuff in all the time. I actually drive 30 mins to the Wentworth store and its worth the trip! I would also keep an eye out for the bulk falafel boxes and frozen hash browns - they're like restaurant hash browns and delicious.
And the marinated meat like 2 cajun chicken breasts from waitrose for £1.50.
The dates are short tho so def clear out your freezer!

Reporting back:

I got 52 items including freezable meats, deli items, tins, custards etc all in good date and frozen stuff it came to £31.00. Most were M&S or Waitrose. I've totted up the value from the respective supermarkets and it should have come to... £105!!!
