What's your Come Dine With Me menu?

I'm on maternity leave so I'm watching far too many episodes of Homes Under The Hammer and Come Dine With Me at the moment

I think my CDWM menu would be:
Starter - Portobello mushrooms stuffed with garlic, cheese and breadcrumbs
Main - individual creamy chicken, bacon & leak pot pies with posh vegetables
Dessert - warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream (both homemade)

I'm also trying to lose some weight so dreaming about food right now!

What's your CDWM menu look like?

I've done a few CDWM style evenings. I have no idea what my next one would be!!

My last one was chicken liver pate and homemade butter, followed by pork loin with black pudding, fondant potatoes and French beans
Then I think it was a 3 layer vanilla cheesecake with a berry coulis, raspberries and whipped cream. Or a chocolate fondant with ice cream. I always offer 2 puddings!

Last time I had guests it wasnt a CDWM party as such, much more informal so I did rib eye steaks with triple cooked chips, onion rings, with a choice of maison beurre, blue cheese sauce or brandy and mushroom. Followed by chocolate fudge cake with a black Forest liqueur soaked in (optional).

Probably my favourite meal I've done- it was epic. But I did get a lot of it ready made! (chips, cake, onion rings) and the butter sauce was unsuccessful I threw a bit of everything in and hoped for the best! I should not.

Fucking hungry now and its bed time!
