Engraving help please

If you saw these 3 letters engraved on a bit of jewellery, what do you think they were?
I’m trying to trace a family member and this is engraved on a ring from the 1940’s I can make out the last letter is a ‘D’.

I see JID. My name begins with a J and that's what anything i have engraved in that style says

I think it’s JTD but I really don’t know.

FID. It's similar to handwriting lessons we had at school.

I'd say JID. First thought was FID/FJD but if it was F then to me looks a lower case F where the others look uppercase so and uppercase J makes more sense (to me!), same with the middle initial - looks like a lowercase J but uppercase I!

I’d say JID too. We were taught copperplate cursive at school (am not ancient, odd schooling) and those letters are how I was taught to do uppercase J, I and D.

I did years of calligraphy and i don't think an F would be formed like that. The crossbar would be separate, not part of the bottom "tail".
