Hi
I want to drop off a cake as a thank you to the midwifes at my local hospital.

I can only go in the evenings , visiting finishes at 7.30 pm ,, when would be best ? dont want to be a bother when its "busy" ( buts its always busy I suppose )

Whenever you deliver it, I'm sure it will be appreciated and shared between the staff. Just make sure it's in some kind of protective container so it stays fresh for the next day's staff. If possible go as early as you can - if you go at the end of visiting you'd find that the staff would be busy then .

An evening drop off would be lovely as the night staff would get some while it was still fresh (they often get nothing/the dregs of gifts that have been left in the day).

Generally handover is usually around 7:30pm/8pm (might be a little earlier or later than that in some hospitals) so i would take it around 7pm to ensure day staff and night staff get a look in.

Thanks for all the advice, just dropped off to a quiet ward before costing but after the dinner rush, happy midwives :-)
