As my child reaches toddlerhood, I'm guessing it'll probably start coming in more useful to have one. They're always catching things from other children and always climbing, running, whatever and having scraped knees or fingers caught in places.

So I'm making a list of things to start buying in preparation.

So far I've got
Paracetamol
Ibuprofen
Cough syrup
TCP?
Plasters
Bandages
Those big plaster type things, I've forgotten what they're called.

Some cream for bites and rashes
Shall I get some germoline? I don't even remember what it's for I just remember my mum always had some in her first aid box.

Anything else I can add?

Antiseptic wipes
Definitely germolene. It’s antiseptic and numbs pain.
Some “magic” cream that will cure everything. I think ours was witch hazel gel.
