Stupid question about treating chicken pox

Hello

DS has chicken pox so I've been and bought poxclin and calamine lotion.

I'm not sure when/what order to put different products on him. I put poxclin on in the day and I've dabbled Calamine on for bedtime. What's the best way to do it. He's not actually trying to itch yet but I'm worried about scarring.

Also the blister I found this morning looks like it's gone down/popped already is that normal I thought the blisters stay on for days

Thank you

The blister you found today was probably the first blister! When our LO has CP I used viralsoothe from Asda, wasn't cheap but had a cooling effect which prevents the children wanting to scratch. Call mine I was told by Gp can dry skin out making it more itchy.

As per pp calamine lotion can dry skin and make itching worse. You can get aqueous calamine cream now though.
