Stories in local newspapers that make you roll your eyes

There are a number of stories that local newspapers seem to feature on a rolling rota.

The angry parent because their kid has sent being home from school because of an inappropriate haircut. Alongside a photo of the kid with hair in a brightly dyed colour or way out haircut.

The angry parent complaining because school sent a letter home saying he is overweight. Parent insists her kid is just well built. Alongside a photo of a fat looking kid that I always feel sorry for being humiliated in this way.

The angry parent complaining that their exceptional child did not get into the school of their choice. The school is always a vastly over subscribed one.

Parking tickets for people who blatantly exceeded clearly marked limits and/or signs etc. Complete with compo sad face.

A man in my town fucked up his parking permit renewal and whinged to the papers and Facebook local page to the point a councillor stepped in and made a big deal about how she would personally intervene - and then cancelled his fine. I was so cross I emailed her to say how ridiculous it was - every other person manages to renew permits without problem.

Child has being running riot in cafe whilst parents ignore them and staff tell parents to do something about it, Cue the child was being an angel and the cafe owners and staff are all child haters. This happened to one local cafe who I know are fine with kids; even my noisy one with severe sn.
